Your soul can also mean the place where your deepest emotions reside and that's the sense that we're talking about here.  We said that the mind is the main battlefield in depression and it certainly has profound effects on our emotions, but all of these factors are interconnected.  Your emotions can imprison you so that you can't even do the things that your mind knows you need to, and a healthy emotional life gives you strength to defeat the lies in between your ears.  Here we discuss a few of the ways our emotions effect us and give some healthy strategies for dealing with them.
